When life feels full, it’s easy to just roll into the next month without stopping to take a breath. But pausing even for a few minutes you can create space to reflect, reset, and realign.
You don’t need a long journaling session or a big breakthrough. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is check in with yourself honestly. No pressure. No judgement. Just a quiet moment to listen inward.
As we leave May behind and move into a new month, here are a few gentle
questions to ask:
What felt heavy this month and what helped lighten the load?
When did I feel most like myself? What was I doing? Who was I with?
What drained me and what filled me up?
Is there something I need to let go of, or something I’d like to carry forward?
What do I need more of next month. Rest, connection, movement or space?
This isn’t about fixing or improving. It’s about noticing. Noticing helps you stay connected to what matters. It brings you back to yourself in a season that can easily pull you in every direction.
So before you rush into what’s next, take a quiet moment. Breathe. Reflect.
Let yourself feel proud of what you moved through. Let yourself release what you no longer need.
Let yourself feel proud of what you moved through. Let yourself release what you no longer need.
And then gently ask: what do I need going forward?
Because tuning in isn’t selfish. It’s how we stay anchored.
