Retreat Box FAQs


A Retreat Box is a seasonally themed box filled with up to $300 of full-sized health and wellness products from Australian and NZ-owned brands.

All products are sourced with your highest health in mind and include items such as lifestyle, environment, home, beauty, skin, body and food products. Each released Retreat Box is different from the previous one, and is tailored with a particular theme in mind.

Each box also contains our Retreat Guide - a retreat manual that features mindful activities, healthy recipes, articles, and QR codes linked to online activities - making your at-home retreat a complete sensory experience. Also included is a Product Booklet to give you further knowledge and insight about each product inside the box.

Our Retreat Boxes are designed so that you can discover new and exciting brands without having to leave your home, but also captures the whole reason we are interested in wellbeing – to improve your lives! We create the boxes to help you reconnect and awaken your most magical self.

A Retreat Yourself subscription means you’ve made an ongoing commitment to yourself and to improving your wellbeing and life. Every three months, at the start of a new season, you will receive a different themed ‘retreat in a box’ and will be automatically charged either every three months or each year (depending on which subscription you have purchased).

A single box means you’ve decided to give yourself all the tools, knowledge and support you need to nourish your mind, body and soul through a single ‘retreat in a box’. You will make a one-off payment at the time of ordering and will receive one box.

We have different options to purchase our Retreat Boxes - either as part of an ongoing subscription (3 Monthly or Yearly) or as a one-off purchase. The prices for each are as follows:

3 Monthly Subscription: $99.95 paid every quarter (free shipping)

Yearly Subscription: $356 annual payment (free express shipping)

One-off Single Box: $115 single payment (free shipping)

Our team here at Retreat Yourself have a background in holistic health, nutrition and fitness, so we are fully equipped and always on the hunt for products that are great for you. We always choose brands that are aligned with our core beliefs and values, and that have the same vision as us.

Our focus is on conscious, natural and organic brands. We believe in whole health, and looking after the body and mind, so we always have your best health interests in mind.

While we’d love to consider offering this in future, at the moment we aren’t able to accommodate individual substitutions, just because we curate and pack all of our boxes well in advance and don’t hold additional options beyond the amazing brands and products featuring in that box.

We do understand how important it is to cater to different dietary needs and preferences, and we do make efforts to include gluten-free and vegan products whenever possible - but unfortunately we aren’t able to cater to this with every product.

Please contact us at support@retreatyourself.com if anything within your box has been damaged or is missing. We will investigate the issue and will review your case to decide what sort of replacement is appropriate.

Please ensure that you contact us within four weeks from the date your box has been shipped as we are only able to process replacement requests within this time.

Yes! You have the option to add a gift card for an additional $5 when you add the product/s to your cart. Simply click on the 'Add a card' button and a text box will open up for you to include a personalised message

No, don't worry, there will not be an invoice or receipt inside your Retreat Yourself parcel, meaning if this is a gift, your receiver will not find any details about the purchase, including cost or billing.

Because of this, we recommend adding a Gift Card to your purchase so you can tell the receiver who their gift is from.

As a small, family-run business that supports and celebrates other small Australian & NZ-owned brands, we occasionally face supply challenges and are required to make some slight changes to the products in our boxes to ensure that there are no hold ups in getting your boxes to you.

With some of our Retreat Boxes, there may be a variation of a particular product ie a drink that may be one flavour or another, or two similar products from two different brands. These variations will appear in the product list associated with the box, where you will see 'product 1 OR product 2'.

Sometimes you may find a product in your box that is in different packaging to the one pictured, a different product from the same brand as the one pictured, or a different product entirely from the one pictured. While we know that product substitutions are not ideal, they are sometimes necessary and cannot be avoided.

We will always do our best to communicate substitutions with the affected customers. If you believe there is an issue with one of the products in a Retreat Box that you received, please email support@retreatyourself.com and we will investigate.

You may not have 'activated' your login to the website yet. What you will need to do is email us at support@retreatyourself.com and we can send an activation email.

If you no longer want to receive our emails you can remove yourself from our mailing list by clicking the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of our emails.

Please note: by unsubscribing you will be removed from all emails including payment reminder emails.

Of course! For customers who live close to Torquay, or are planning to visit the area, you can absolutely collect your purchase from our warehouse located at 2 Beacon Blvd. One of our friendly team will be on-hand to assist you between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday and between 10am and 2pm on Saturday.

When you go to the checkout page, you will have the option to select 'Ship' or 'Pickup in store'. For anyone who has selected local pickup, you will receive email notification when your order is ready to be collected.

If our opening hours don't suit you, please email support@retreatyourself.com and we will happily make alternate arrangements.

Our subscriber boxes are always the first orders to go out when we release a new box. Each box is released on the 1st day of a new season and we ship our subscriber boxes on this day as well. Therefore we ship subscriber boxes on 1 March (Autumn box), 1 June (Winter box), 1 September (Spring box), 1 December (Summer box).

Once you have a subscription with us, we can easily make changes to upcoming scheduled payment dates. You can either choose to push the payment date back to a time that better suits you, or you may choose to skip a box entirely.

To make either of those changes, simply email support@retreatyourself.com and we'll be ready to help.

If you know you will not be at your nominated shipping address when your next subscription box is due to be delivered, we can either hold the box back until you are home or we can ship it to a different location. Just let us know at support@retreatyourself.com before your next scheduled subscription payment date.

If you will be away for longer than 3 months, we can simply skip that season's box for you.

Due to the volume of Retreat Boxes we are packing each season, sometimes we have variations with the products ie different flavours of drink or a different scent for bath bombs. Variations will always be listed on our website for that particular box, where you will see OR between two product names.

Unfortunately all of our Retreat Boxes are pre-packed, so customers are not able to select which option they would prefer when this happens.

Retreat Box


In most cases, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse the business day after purchase. This may be impacted by public holidays and peak busy periods. You will always receive tracking information via email when your order is ready to be shipped.

If you subscribe, you will automatically receive a new box every season (3 monthly). Your next box will be shipped from the 1st day of the following season, so 1 March (Autumn box), 1 June (Winter box), 1 September (Spring box) and 1 December (Summer box).

Depending on the value of your order, and whether your parcel is going to an address in Australia or NZ, there are different shipping rates:

For orders under $50

Shipping within Australia
- $8 standard shipping with AusPost (3-7 business days)
- $14 express shipping with AusPost (1-4 business days)

Shipping to NZ
- $12 standard shipping with AusPost (3-10 business days)
- $18 express shipping with AusPost (2-7 business days)

For orders from $50 to $199.99

Shipping within Australia
- FREE standard shipping with Aramex (4-10 business days)
- $5 standard shipping with AusPost (3-7 business days)
- $12 express shipping with AusPost (1-4 business days)

Shipping to NZ
- FREE standard shipping with AusPost (3-10 business days)
- $15 express shipping with AusPost (2-7 business days)

There are different timeframes depending on your chosen method of shipping and the destination. Please use the information below as a guide:

For parcels being sent within Australia
- Standard shipping with Aramex: 4-10 business days
- Standard shipping with AusPost: 3-7 business days
- Express shipping with AusPost: 1-4 business days

For parcels being sent to NZ
- Standard shipping with AusPost: 3-10 business days
- Express shipping with AusPost: 2-7 business days

Once your order has been packed and is ready for dispatch, you will receive an email with the tracking information.

Please be aware that shipping can take longer than expected over the Black Friday-Christmas period, with delays sometimes beginning in mid-November. We highly recommend using Express Shipping for orders that you hope to have delivered in time for a special occasion.

Unfortunately, we are only able to ship our boxes and products to locations around Australia and New Zealand.

We are not able to offer shipping to other countries at this time.

Yes! When you check out you will have the option to select and pay for express shipping.

Of course! We use a combination of Aramex and Australia Post for shipping within Australia.

If you have a preference of domestic courier, please contact us.

Your tracking number should have been sent to you via email once your order was dispatched.

If you have not received your tracking number, please email us at support@retreatyourself.com and we will follow up.

For subscription customers, if you change your address you will need to contact us at support@retreatyourself.com so we can update the address on your account. Please DO NOT change your address via your account as this could cause errors with shipping.

If you have placed a one-off purchase and need to update the shipping address prior to your order being dispatched, please email support@retreatyourself.com and we can help.

Our system is not quite clever enough to accept more than one shipping address and we are unable to ship to multiple addresses in a single order. The best way around this is to place multiple orders to ensure your Retreat Boxes go to the correct home, or better yet you could have them delivered to the one address and have an unboxing day with your friends!

Shipping


3 Monthly Subscription: $89 every new Season/3 monthly

Your first payment will be withdrawn on the day you purchase your subscription. Recurring payments from there will be on the 22nd day of the month prior to a new season occuring ie 22 February (Autumn), 22 May (Winter), 22 August (Spring), and 22 November (Summer).

Yearly Subscription: $319 annual payment

Your first payment will always be deducted on the day you sign up for a Yearly Subscription and place your order. You will then receive four boxes over the course of the year, shipped on the first day of each season - 1st of March, June, September and December. Depending on when you purchased and paid for your Yearly Subscription, your next payment will either fall on 22 February, 22 May, 22 August, or 22 November the following year.

No, you do not have to purchase a subscription! We offer all of our Retreat Boxes, plus many more smaller and larger options, as one-off purchases.

Yearly Subscription - After your initial payment amount is charged on the day you purchased your Yearly Subscription, your next payment will be scheduled in line with a new full year of boxes. So once you have received all 4 Retreat Boxes, your subscription renewal will take place on the 22nd day of the month prior to the next season's box ie either 22 February (Autumn), 22 May (Winter), 22 August (Spring) and 22 November (Summer).

You will always receive an email reminder about all upcoming subscription payments. Be sure to add Retreat Yourself to your inbox so our emails don't go to your junk folder.

If you have any questions about your next payment date, please email our team at support@retreatyourself.com and we can provide exact payment dates for your particular subscription.

Once you have a subscription with us, we can easily make changes to upcoming scheduled payment dates. You can either choose to push the payment date back to a time that better suits you, or you may choose to skip a box entirely.


To make either of those changes, simply email support@retreatyourself.com and we'll be ready to help.

You can log into your account and update your payment details by heading to 'Manage Subscriptions > Billing Information > Update Card'.

For all one-off purchases, we accept payments via AfterPay, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and Credit Card.

For subscription products, we accept payments via Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and Credit Card. Unfortunately we cannot accept subscription payments using AfterPay.

Please note - if you are paying via PayPal eCheck it usually takes up to 6 business days for this to clear, which is when your order will be processed.

Yes you will! The week before a charge is due to occur you will receive an email reminding you of your upcoming payment. Be sure to add Retreat Yourself to your inbox so our emails don't go to your junk folder.

All of our subscriptions are ongoing until cancelled by you. Retreat Yourself is a subscription service, just like when you subscribe to a magazine – you will continue to pay for, and receive the service, until cancellation.

If you wish to cancel, please email us at support@retreatyourself.com and we will organise this for you.

If you only intended to purchase a single Retreat Box, and have been incorrectly charged for another one, you may have accidentally purchased a subscription product rather than a one-off product.

Please contact our team at support@retreatyourself.com and we will be able to assist.

You are welcome to cancel at any time by emailing us at support@retreatyourself.com. Your subscription will continue to renew indefinitely until canceled.

To avoid being charged, you will need to cancel prior to the next payment being debited (on the 22nd day before the next season).

If you want to cancel your subscription, please contact our team at support@retreatyourself.com and we will cancel the subscription.

Our cancellation policy is outlined in the question above.

If you cancel your subscription, no further payments will be withdrawn.

If you have had an order go through before cancellation, your order will still be shipped.

If you have a yearly subscription, you will still receive the remaining boxes for that year.

If you are unhappy with the box and products included, we will provide a refund if returned within 30 days. To be eligible for a refund, products must not have been used, opened or tampered with, and will only be refunded if returned in 'as new' condition.

If you have had a refund approved and processed by our customer service team, you can expect the funds to return into your account within 5 business days.

If you are unhappy with the box and the products inside, you can return the box to us within 30 days of receiving it (we must receive the box within 30 days since shipment) and we will refund you your money.

The box must be undamaged and all products must be in an unused condition or you will not qualify to receive a refund.

Billing


In order to use your Rewards points, please take note of the following minimum spend requirements for each discount amount:100 points / $5 voucher = $30 minimum spend200 points / $10 voucher = $50 minimum spend300 point / $15 voucher = $80 minimum spend400 points / $20 voucher = $100 minimum spend800 points / $40 voucher = $200 minimum spend1000 points / $50 voucher = $300 minimum spend

To redeem your points, you'll need to head to the Rewards page and log into your account, click 'redeem' on the voucher available for you (this will depend on how many points you have). This will copy a specific custom discount code which you will then paste into the 'Discount Code' box at checkout when you purchase.

You will be able to use your Rewards points on all online store products (including single Retreat Boxes!), limited edition products, bundles, wellness essentials and our exciting VIP product launches.There are minimum spend requirements for all of our discount codes, so please familiarise yourself with those amounts (see answer above).Please note that you will not be able to use Rewards points to purchase subscription products as our subscriptions are already heavily discounted.

The only products you won't be able to use your points on are our two subscription products - the 'Pay 3 Monthly' and 'Pay Yearly' options. The reason for this is because these products are already discounted for you ($15 per box on seasonal subscriptions and $26 per box on yearly subscriptions). However, you will accrue points every time your subscription recurs!

No, they can't unfortunately. The way our subscriptions are set up is that they are already discounted ($15 per box on seasonal subscriptions and $26 per box on yearly subscriptions) so we do not further discount subscriptions at all. At the moment, Rewards Points are only for use on the MarketPlace (single Retreat Boxes, limited edition products, bundles, exclusive launches etc).It's great to remember that, as your subscription recurs, you'll keep earning points and you'll move your way up the VIP tiers!

You can only use one code ($5, $10, $15 or $20 off) per order, and you will not be able to use your code in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

Yes, your points will expire after 12 months if there is no activity on your account. So make sure you redeem them within 12 months.Our discount codes will never expire until they are applied to an order, so we recommend that you redeem your points for codes whenever you can.

Your points cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions and will only apply to eligible items.

You will receive your points on the morning of your birthday! Happy birthday to you :)

Yes! You can absolutely use your existing account to log in. This will mean that as you accrue points with your seasonal subscription, it will show up in your account. Yay!

Nope! Once you reach a new tier, you will maintain that status forever :)

Anyone you refer will need to be completely new to Retreat Yourself. We know they'll love you referring them though!
