We're hiring - Marketing Coordinator

  • Full Time • Torquay/hybrid
  • $75-85,000 + super (dependant on experience)

Retreat Yourself is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

This is a hands on, varied role across social content, campaigns, email, community and brand projects - perfect for someone with a solid foundation in marketing who is ready to step into a broader, more creative role within a purpose-led brand.

You’ll work closely with our wider team, helping to bring campaigns to life across key channels. We are still a small team, so collaboration is a big part of how we operate day-to-day.

What you’ll be doing:

Social Media & Community

  • Create on-brand content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & Pinterest
  • Plan, schedule and publish posts and stories
  • Reply to messages and comments, nurturing the community
  • Bring ideas, trends and creative concepts to the table
  • Track social analytics and share insights

Campaign & creative execution

  • Create assets for sales campaigns
  • Assist with campaign rollout across all channels
  • Support with creative concepts, storylines and hooks
  • Keep marketing timelines and content calendars up to date

Photoshoot coordination

  • Assist with creative planning of photoshoots
  • Coordinate locations, models, props and logistics
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content

Email & eComm support

  • Build and schedule email campaigns in Klaviyo
  • Assist with email flow management and optimisation
  • Update content and images in Shopify when needed
  • Help to ensure the customer experience is smooth across all touch points

PR, Giveaways & Projects

  • Coordinate seasonal giveaways and assist with ambassador strategy
  • Support PR initiatives and influencer outreach
  • Assist with the production of the seasonal Retreat Guide

Who we’re looking for

Someone who has marketing experience - ideally 1-3+ years, OR has completed a marketing, communications or digital media degree/course and has hands-on experience with:

  • Creating content for brand socials
  • Email platform experience (Klaviyo)
  • Shopify experience
  • Marketing coordination or campaign support
  • Basic editing tools (Reels/TikTok/Canva)
  • Experience with paid advertising (Meta/TikTok/Google) is a bonus too!
