Create your own ‘what’s working’ list

Feelings: Feel anchored. Feel grateful. Feel supported by the quiet things.

Time required: 15 to 20 minutes

What you’ll need: Pen, and a moment to reflect

ABOUT THE RITUAL

So often, we rush ahead - focusing on what’s next, what needs fixing, what we should be doing better. But underneath it all, there are small, steady things already working for you. Little rhythms you’ve created. Tiny mindset shifts. Choices made in quiet moments that are actually helping you feel more like you.

This ritual is your invitation to pause and notice them.

It’s not about getting it 'right' or making a perfect list - it’s about gently turning your attention toward what’s supporting you right now, even if it feels small. These are your anchors. Your wins. Your quiet magic.

Let this be a moment of recognition - a reminder that even in the messiness of life, there are things that are holding you, softly.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Create a little pocket of time. Somewhere calm. Somewhere quiet. Pour tea and find a warm patch of sunlight. Let your body soften. Let your breath slow.

  2. On a blank page, begin your list: 'What’s been working for me lately?'  You’re not looking for big, flashy answers. Just the things, big or tiny, that have been helping you feel a little more grounded, a little more you.

  3. List up to 15 things that feel true. Try not to overthink. This list is just for you.

  4. When you’re done, read your list slowly.  Breathe it in. Let it land. These aren’t small things - these are signs of self-trust. Self-compassion. Forward movement, even if it hasn’t felt that way.

IDEAS TO SPARK YOUR REFLECTION:

  • What small habit or rhythm has been helping lately?
'Starting the day without my phone.'

  • What choice have you made that felt aligned?
'Saying no to something I didn’t have the capacity for.'

  • What feels calming, joyful, or meaningful - even quietly?
    'Lighting a candle before dinner.'
