ABOUT THE RITUAL
There’s something incredibly calming about water - especially on a dark, cold winter’s night. Whether it’s sinking into a warm bath or standing under a hot, steamy shower, this ritual is about turning that everyday act into something really special.
This is your moment to slow everything down, tune into your senses, and let the water quite literally wash the day away. No multitasking. No rushing. Just warmth, stillness, and the simple act of caring for your body with intention.
With a few small touches - some calming salts, soft light, a beautiful playlist or meditation track and your full presence - even an ordinary bathroom can become a space of deep rest and renewal, just like you’re at a day spa.
INSTRUCTIONS:
If you have a bath:

Dim the lights or light a candle. Queue up the Retreat Yourself ‘Rest & Unwind’ playlist (via QR code in the box) or a meditation track (search ‘winter bath meditation’ or ‘evening unwind’ on Spotify, Insight Timer or YouTube).

Add a generous scoop of your Bath Soak into the warm water. If you have any essential oils at home, add a few drops of something soothing like lavender or ylang ylang. Let the scents and steam begin to work their magic.

Slide into the bath and press play on your track. Let the scents, warmth of the water and the music or meditation carry you into complete stillness. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and let your body fully relax.

After 15–20 minutes, gently rise and wrap yourself in a towel or robe. Keep your playlist on as you move slowly through the rest of your night.
If you don’t have a bath:

Add a small scoop of the Bath Soak to the floor of your shower, where the water will lightly hit it - releasing a relaxing aroma into the steam.

Step into the warm water and let it ground you. Let the music or voice in the background guide you towards complete stillness. Breathe deeply. Imagine the day washing off you, both physically and energetically.

Take three long, slow breaths before turning off the water. Let your body truly feel the sense of calm you’ve created.

Towel off gently, and move slowly through the rest of your night. Keep the playlist going to carry the calm beyond the ritual you’ve just completed.
