Which is exactly why we chatted with Jay Tombleson, one of the Invention Managers behind True Water's refreshing sparkling drinks.
But first, we thought we'd share some of the ways we've enjoyed True Water (other than straight from the bottle, of course!)....
Staying hydrated has never been so easy with these delicious spring water mocktail recipes!
1. Mimosa Mocktail With a Lime Twist
Pop a few cubes of ice into a champagne flute and fill a third of the glass with freshly squeezed orange juice. Fill the rest of the glass with the True Water Lime sparkling mineral water and stir together with a spoon. Garnish with freshly sliced orange for an extra hit of citrus!
2. Raspberry "Cosmo" Mocktail
Fill half a glass with cranberry juice and the other half with True Water Raspberry sparkling mineral water and stir together with a spoon. Add a squeeze of fresh lime and garnish with some juicy blueberries.
3. Russian Mule Mocktail
Put some ice in a glass and fill half of the glass with True Water Lime sparkling mineral water. Fill the rest of the glass with non-alcoholic ginger beer and add a squeeze of fresh lime. Stir and garnish with some fresh mint leaves and voilà!
What was the inspiration behind True Water?
Water is such an “I need” not an “I want” occasion. We wanted to help people enjoy water and actually make it something they looked forward to. While infused waters are the ultimate natural and delicious way of drinking water, they are not always convenient. With True Water we wanted to give the experience of a true infused water without the hassle. It’s the perfect excuse to stop and reset in a busy day.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Making a difference and developing products that people not only enjoy but are also good for them and good for the environment.
How do you make your products?
Using Australian Spring water, we simply add real fruit extracts, a touch of carbonation and bottle in our beautifully designed glass bottles.
What is your favourite product in your range?
The lime. It tastes exactly like sparkling water with a squeeze of lime.
What is your favourite way to enjoy your products?
During the afternoon at work. It always helps me get through those last few hours before heading home. It is so much better than a sweet pick me up which often leaves me feeling guilty.
What is your favourite way of winding down and taking time out?
A good book, been outside (preferably near water) and a bottle of True Water.
