Everything was packaged nicely, nothing was wrapped. It was great the products came in recyclable containers. Unfortunately, the spray and perfume oil both leaked. The perfume oil and spray were a finger's width lower. The perfume has virtually no scent throw. I can only smell the carrier oil. It is in clear glass so if it had been stored for ages the perfume part of the oil has said goodbye. The Sleepy Spray has no scent of lavender or ylang ylang, two relaxing fragarances, just a headache inducing sickly sweet smell of what I am guessing, must be the other listed ingredient, the tonka bean. You can't smell the orange oil either and there was no ingredients list to confirm what that scent make up was. If people love sweet perfume and not botanicals, this might be for them but I am not sure it can be considered a relaxing fragrance. It was strong, and distracting, it prevented sleep, I stripped my pillow cases. The journal is good, the flavoured sparkling water, a nice touch, but considering the leaked containers and products that are not what they claim to be, it wasn't worth it. The subscription box from Biome is the same price and much better value despite only some contents being revealed. Their ethos is on sustainability and 'good for you' products and perhaps including some of their brands might work here too. I was convinced to get a gift for myself after seeing a full page advertisement for Kate's business in a trashy magazine (New Idea) during a family trip. I loved the vision of Retreat Yourself and how it started, parting ways with Corporate is always the way.
