Hayley seeks to not only provide access to a huge range of crystals, she also seeks to educate on the different benefits for different types of gorgeous crystals.
We decided to sit down with Hayley and have a chat about why she started, how she uses her own crystals, and which of her crystal products are her favourite.
Tell us a bit about the people behind your company
I (Hayley!) created The Crystal Element to provide customers with affordable, high quality crystals.
What inspired you to start your company and when did you start it?
I started The Crystal Element in December 2017. I had just left school and was wanting to make my own business to be able to love what I do each day.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I absolutely love waking up and knowing that my day will be interesting and that’ll I’ll be helping out people with the same passions as me.
What is your favourite product in your range?
My favourite product would probably be our Agate Windchimes. I love how the sun shines on them & how calming the sound is.
What is your favourite way to enjoy your product/s?
I love having them in my office & around the house.
What have been the biggest trials so far in starting and running your company?
There has been a lot of things I’ve had to learn along the way, but I love learning and running this business.
If you weren’t running your company, what would you be doing?
I can’t imagine doing anything else, I would probably be at university studying.
What is your favourite way of winding down and taking time out?
Defiantly yoga. It is my favourite “me time”.
Here at Retreat Yourself, we LOVE dreaming BIG - what is your vision for your company?
I would absolutely love to have a physical shop one day as well as online! It would also be amazing to be able to hire & work with my family.
For anyone out there wanting to start their own business, what would your biggest piece of advice be?
Just go for it!

Waking up everyday, doing what you love & being surrounded by the people you love.
