The Power Of Your Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl:

Bananas

Bananas for example are one of the best sources of potassium, magnesium and folate on the planet, that come in an easily digestible, sweet package. Bananas are also a great source of carbohydrate that are often used pre and post exercise to support muscle recovery.

Pineapple

Just one cup of Pineapple as is used in this recipe contains half of the daily-recommended value of Vitamin C, a water-soluble antioxidant that fights against cell damage, joint pain and eases inflammation in the body. These antioxidants have also proven effective in reducing the risk of macular degeneration and support overall digestive and enzymatic function in the body.

Coconut

Coconut milk is a great lactose-free substitute for cow’s milk that provides large amounts of fibre, vitamin C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 as well as iron, selenium, sodium and calcium. The water from the inside of a coconut is also full of electrolytes and minerals to replenish the body from dehydration and support detoxification.

KOJA Muesli Toppers

Not only do KOJA Muesli toppers add texture and a much needed crunch to your smoothie bowl but this premium blend of nuts, seeds & superfoods contain over 25 vitamins, minerals & antioxidants to boost energy levels, support healthy digestion and assist with immune defence. That’s not to mention that the simple act of adding KOJA to your smoothie bowl provides you with a  slow releasing energy that will keep you sustained for hours, and support your weight loss goals (should you have any).

The Daily Bar

With ingredients so simple a child could spot them from the market shelf, these bars are packed full of only natures best to deliver the best taste with the least guilt. Eaten on their own as a snack, or crumbled on top of a smoothie bowl like this one, getting your daily dose of superfoods has never been so tasty.
