We've worked with Wrinkles Schminkles a few times now and we just adore their products! So, we wanted to learn more about how Wrinkles Schminkles started, how a day in the office looks and what inspires founder Gabrielle Requena, so we sat down with her recently and asked all the pressing questions...
What inspired you to start your company?
It all began with a real problem I was facing - signs of aging on my skin. I wanted to create a natural, non-invasive solution to respect aging gracefully. Wrinkles Schminkles aims to encourage women to feel best in the skin they have.
What experiences lead to the values you have instilled in your company?
I am passionate about ‘healthy aging’ and not inflaming the fear of aging we put on women in today's society.

To become the go to skincare brand promoting healthy aging, fast acting skincare, while giving back to the planet and people whenever we can.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Two gorgeous cats meowing at the door! And growing the business to its full potential.
What would an ‘average day in the life of’ look like for you?
Early morning USA calls, yoga, coffee then off to the office with my wonderful girls. Home, meditate (on a good day!), dinner, possibly UK calls (on days like this I usually take more time for myself during the day).
What is your favourite way of winding down, taking time out and practising self-care?
I love yoga and meditation - that’s when I feel my best. I also love indulging in good food and wine. And traveling and experiencing new things.
In a world full of pressure to be everything, how do you stay true to yourself? And how would you encourage other women to do the same?
By taking time to intuitively listen to my inner voice - which can sometimes be quietened with other people's expectations and opinions. On a practical level I would encourage women to focus on two things which help them stay true to themselves from a young age - learn to meditate to manage your nervous system. Focus on becoming independent, that way, your life’s decisions are never based on being reliant on anyone but yourself!
What does a fulfilled life look like to you?
One full of love with a partner, friends and family; creating in all forms, and sharing in the wealth with all.
