The world we live in is very ‘yang’ dominant, which means we’re often living in a more ‘masculine’ state; rushing around trying to get everything done, confronting challenges at work, at home, and everywhere in between. We’re tense, wound up and a lot of the time, on edge.
When we’re in this state, we’re disconnected from our softness, our feminine, and It’s so important to consciously connect with this to ensure we have the balance between the yin and the yang - the slow and the fast, stress and calm, the harsh and the soft.
In this short yoga flow you’ll be combining low, slow, juicy movements, breath and awareness to activate your own feminine energy. The sacred feminine energy of yoga moves far beyond what our culture has prescribed as being feminine, and allows us to access the pulsing life force, pleasure and creative power of Shakti.
You can use this gentle practice at any time of the day or evening when you need to reconnect to your body and feminine essence.
