5 journal prompts to reconnect with yourself

5 journal prompts to reconnect with yourself

We're sure you can relate to feeling disconnected and discontent after being caught up in life's blur. After a crazy year of juggling work, social events, appointments, errands and basically just life in general, it's easy to lose sight of who you are and what you need to feel fulfilled.

But having a busy life doesn’t mean you should neglect spending time with yourself. Knowing who you are and how to care for yourself, even when busy, is vitally important to living a fulfilling life.

There’s something about the start of the year that just puts you in a reflective mood. Maybe it’s the time spent at the end of last year winding up projects, or the call to slow down after a busy few months, either way this periods offer the perfect time to go inwards and get a little reflective. Have a conversation with yourself, redefine your goals and ultimately reconnect with inner you.

When pondering these types of questions, there is no better way to explore the boundaries of your mind than with journaling. You can make these part of your daily or weekly routine, or you can treat yourself to a big date every month… whatever works for you!

  1. What does my ideal day look like?
  2. What motivates me to wake up every day?
  3. What one thing makes me extremely proud of myself?
  4. What does success mean to me?
  5. What is the one thing I need to let go of today?

Remember, all of the relationships in your life stem from the relationship you have with yourself. So really dig deep and strengthen your connection to you - be curious and explore what’s going on inside.

Never forget how important you are to you! ❤️

I try and write in my journal each day but I often miss days so I now combine writing and junk journaling which is good for my mind and spirit. I would have posted some examples but you can’t add photos. Junk journaling is a lot of fun and very uplifting
